Art. 1 - L'Associazione Musicale Diapason APS con il patrocinio del Comune di Massa indice e organizza il 14° Concorso Internazionale per Giovani Musicisti "Città di Massa" che si terrà a Massa (MS) dal 7 al 9 febbraio 2025.

Art. 2 - Il Concorso è aperto a giovani musicisti di ambo i sessi di nazionalità italiana e cittadini stranieri.

Art. 3 - Le prove si svolgeranno presso Villa Cuturi, Viale A. Vespucci n. 24 - Marina di Massa.

Art. 4 - All'inizio di ogni audizione i candidati dovranno presentare un documento comprovante l'identità. I candidati dovranno altresì presentare alla commissione una copia dei brani in programma.

Art. 5 - Non si fa obbligo di suonare a memoria.

Art. 6 - Per la sezione solisti non sono ammessi brani di musica da camera.

Art. 7 - La commissione giudicatrice sarà composta da docenti di conservatorio, insegnanti e musicisti di rilievo del panorama musicale italiano.

Art. 8 - La commissione ascolterà tutto il programma presentato dai candidati purché non superi i limiti di tempo previsti. Nel caso in cui la durata del programma di un candidato dovesse oltrepassare detto limite, la commissione si riserverà il diritto di interrompere l'esecuzione.

Art. 9 - Le decisioni e i giudizi della commissione sono definitivi e inappellabili.

Art. 10 - Le spese di viaggio e soggiorno sono a carico dei partecipanti.

Art. 11 - I candidati possono partecipare a più sezioni, ma non a più categorie. Possono inoltre iscriversi a una categoria superiore a quella prevista per la propria età, qualora la preparazione lo consenta, ma non a una inferiore.

Art. 12 - Tra coloro che parteciperanno alla sezione di musica da camera verrà calcolata l'età media tra i componenti di ogni formazione.

Art. 13 - Gli organizzatori mettono a disposizione un pianoforte ma non forniscono altri strumenti musicali; ogni complesso dovrà provvedere ai necessari leggii.

Art. 14 - A tutti i candidati pianisti verrà concesso di provare lo strumento durante i giorni del Concorso in orari da concordare con l'organizzazione.

Art. 15 - Tutti i candidati dovranno presentarsi presso Villa Cuturi nel giorno e nell'ora stabiliti dall'organizzazione.

Art. 16 - A ogni candidato verrà inviata una e-mail di convocazione con il giorno e l'ora previsti per l'appello della propria categoria. L'organizzazione
non si assume la responsabilità per il mancato o tardivo recapito della convocazione; si consiglia pertanto di informarsi personalmente ai
numeri telefonici 327 0144247 - 320 0529129 o visitare il sito del Concorso.

Art. 17 - Per le sezioni solisti e canto l'organizzazione mette a disposizione, su richiesta, il pianista accompagnatore, con un supplemento di € 30,00 per le categorie "Prime note", A, B, M e Q, di € 35,00 per le categorie N, O e di € 40,00 per tutte le altre categorie; tale supplemento dovrà integrare la quota associativa di partecipazione. In tal caso è necessario inviare entro il 20 gennaio 2025 copia dei brani scelti all'indirizzo email [email protected].

Art. 18 - Ai sensi del regolamento europeo n. 679/2016 in materia di protezione dei dati personali, l'Associazione Musicale Diapason APS informa che i dati forniti all'atto dell'iscrizione saranno dalla stessa conservati e utilizzati esclusivamente al fine di inviare comunicazioni relative all'Associazione e che, ai sensi del succitato regolamento, il titolare dei dati ha diritto di conoscere, aggiornare, cancellare e rettificare i suoi dati oppure opporsi al loro utilizzo.

Art. 19 - L'iscrizione al Concorso comporta l'accettazione incondizionata del presente regolamento e delle eventuali modifiche apportate dalla direzione artistica e organizzativa. Gli organizzatori si riservano, per cause di forza maggiore, di poter annullare la manifestazione; solo in tal caso le quote di iscrizione verranno interamente restituite. L'organizzazione non si assume la responsabilità di eventuali danni di qualsiasi natura relativi a persone o cose per l'intera durata del Concorso. 

Per quanto non contemplato dal presente regolamento, l'organizzazione avoca a sé ogni competenza.

SEZIONI E CATEGORIE

Sezione solisti – Pianoforte, Archi, Fiati, Chitarra, Arpa, Fisarmonica
Il programma, della durata massima prevista per ciascuna categoria, è a libera scelta.

Cat. "Prime note" - nati dal 2018 in poi - Durata massima 3 minuti
Cat. A - nati dal 2015 al 2017 - Durata massima 5 minuti
Cat. B – nati dal 2013 al 2014 - Durata massima 8 minuti
Cat. C - nati dal 2011 al 2012 - Durata massima 12 minuti
Cat. D – nati dal 2008 al 2010 - Durata massima 15 minuti
Cat. E - nati dal 2003 al 2007 - Durata massima 20 minuti

Sezione musica da camera (pianoforte a 4 mani - formazioni dal duo al quintetto con o senza pianoforte - formazioni varie fino a un massimo di sei elementi).
Il programma, della durata massima prevista per ciascuna categoria, è a libera scelta.

Cat. G - nati dal 2011 in poi - Durata massima 10 minuti
Cat. H - nati dal 2005 al 2010 - Durata massima 15 minuti
Cat. I - senza limiti di età - Durata massima 20 minuti

Sezione canto
È richiesta l'esecuzione di due arie a libera scelta, dal '700 a oggi.

(Riservata a solisti e gruppi fino a un massimo di otto elementi).

Cat. M – Solisti – Primo biennio – Durata massima 7 minuti
Cat. N – Solisti – Secondo biennio – Durata massima 8 minuti
Cat. O – Solisti – Classi quinte – Durata massima 10 minuti
Cat. P – Gruppi di musica d’insieme (qualsiasi formazione) – Durata massima 10 minuti

Sezione scuole medie a indirizzo musicale
(Riservata a solisti e gruppi fino a un massimo di cinque elementi)

Cat. Q - Solisti - Durata massima 7 minuti
Cat. R - Gruppi di musica d'insieme (qualsiasi formazione) - Durata massima 8 minuti 

PREMI

 - Al candidato che avrà riportato la media più alta, e comunque non inferiore a 98/100 verrà conferito il diploma di 1° premio assoluto e una coppa.

- Ai candidati che avranno riportato una media non inferiore a 95/100 verrà conferito il diploma di 1° premio e una coppa.

- Ai candidati che avranno riportato una media non inferiore a 90/100 verrà conferito il diploma di 2° premio e una medaglia.

- Ai candidati che avranno riportato una media non inferiore a 85/100 verrà conferito il diploma di 3° premio e una medaglia.

- A tutti gli altri candidati verrà rilasciato il diploma di partecipazione.

- La commissione giudicatrice potrà assegnare menzioni a tutti coloro che si saranno distinti con esecuzioni particolarmente meritevoli.

- Verranno inoltre assegnati, su segnalazione della commissione, concerti offerti da Associazioni ed Enti, a coloro che si saranno particolarmente distinti per le loro qualità musicali. Tutti i concerti premio prevedono il solo rimborso delle spese sostenute.

- A tutti gli insegnanti di allievi premiati verrà rilasciato, su richiesta, un attestato.

- Un diploma di merito verrà rilasciato all'insegnante con il maggior numero di allievi premiati.

- Un diploma verrà conferito all'insegnante che avrà presentato il maggior numero di allievi.

- Un diploma verrà rilasciato  alla scuola con il maggior numero di allievi presentati.

- I vincitori assoluti di ogni categoria che avranno riportato una votazione non inferiore a 98/100 saranno invitati a esibirsi al Concerto dei Vincitori che si terrà in data 9 febbraio presso la sede del Concorso con orario da definire. 

MODALITA' DI PARTECIPAZIONE

I candidati dovranno inviare entro e non oltre le 23:59 del giorno 20 gennaio 2025 il modulo di iscrizione debitamente compilato reperibile al link che si trova nella sezione "Iscrizione" del sito concorsocittadimassa.jimdosite.com.
Alla domanda dovranno essere allegati i seguenti documenti:
1) copia di un documento di riconoscimento o dichiarazione sostitutiva di nascita redatta ai sensi dell'articolo 46 del D.P.R. 28 dicembre 2000 n. 445;
2) certificato di frequenza della scuola (solo per le  sezioni riservate ai licei musicali e scuole a indirizzo musicale) oppure copia del libretto dello studente;
3) ricevuta di versamento effettuato mediante bonifico bancario a favore dell'Associazione Musicale Diapason, IBAN IT24K0503413643000000007257

Art. 1 - Diapason Musical Association presents the 14th "Città di Massa"  International Competition for Young Musicians, wich will take place in Massa (MS) from 7 to 9 February 2025. 

Art. 2 - The competition is designed for young musicians, solo or ensemble, both male and female, of any nationality.

Art. 3 - The auditions will take place at Villa Cuturi, Viale A. Vespucci n. 24 - Marina di Massa.

Art. 4 - At the beginning of each audition candidates must present an identity document. Candidates must also present to the Committee a copy of the pieces in the program.

Art. 5 - It is not required to perform by memory.

Art. 6 - Chamber music pieces are not admitted for the soloist section.

Art. 7 - The jury  will be formed by conservatory or academy teachers and  internationally renowned musicians..

Art. 8 - The commission will listen to the entire program presented by each applicant as long as it does not exceed the the time limit set for each category. Should the duration of a candidate's program exceed the time limits, the commission has the right to interrupt the performance.

Art. 9 - All the jury's decisions are final and irrevocable.

Art. 10 - Travel and accommodation expenses are at the participants' expense.

Art. 11 - Applicants can take part to more sections in this competition but not to more categories. They can also enrol in a higher category than the expected one for their age but not in a lower one.

Art. 12 - The average age of the group will be considered for the chamber music section.

Art. 13 - The organisers will provide a piano but will not supply other musical instruments; each ensemble will have to provide the necessary music stands.

Art. 14 - All piano candidates will be allowed to rehearse the instrument during the days of the Competition at times to be agreed with the organisers.

Art. 15 - All candidates must present themselves at Villa Cuturi on the day and at the time established by the organisation.

Art. 16 - Each candidate will be sent a convocation e-mail with the day and time scheduled for the roll-call of his/her category. The organisation is not responsible for the missed or late delivery of the summons; it is therefore advisable to inform oneself personally on the telephone numbers 327 0144247 - 320 0529129 or visit the Competition website.

Art. 17 - For the soloist and singing sections, the organisation will provide, on request, a piano accompanist, with a supplement of € 30.00 for the categories "Prime note", A, B, M and Q, € 35.00 for the categories N, O and € 40.00 for all the other categories; this supplement must be added to the participation fee. A copy of the chosen pieces must be sent by 20 January 2025 to the following email: [email protected].

Art. 18 - Diapason Musical Association APS informs that personal data provided by each applicant will be processed solely to send information about the association, in accordance to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) n. 679/2016. Data subjects can exercise the right to rectification, to erasure and to withdraw his or her consent at any time.

Art. 19 - By applying for the competition, participants automatically accept conditions from previous provisions of these rules and any amendment that may occur. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the contest by reason of unforeseeable circumstances, notifying the participants in advance. Only in that case the application fee will be refunded. The organisers are not responsible for any damage of any kind to persons or property throughout the duration of the Competition. 

In case of contestations, the Italian text will be legally binding.

Soloists section – Piano, Strings, Wind instruments, Guitar, Harp, Accordion

Free choice of repertoire, it must not exceed the time limit set for each category. 

Cat. "Prime note" - born from 2018 onwards -  up to 3 minutes

Cat. A - born from 2015 to 2017 -  up to 5 minutes

Cat. B - born from 2013 to 2014 - up to 8 minutes

Cat. C - born from 2011 to 2012 - up to 12 minutes

Cat. D - born from 2008 to 2010 - up to 15 minutes

Cat. E - born from 2004 to 2008 - up to 20 minutes.

Chamber music section (piano 4 hands - duets and small ensembles up to a quintet with or without piano - various ensembles up to a maximum of six elements).
Free choice of repertoire, it must not exceed the time limit set for each category.

Cat. G - born from 2011 onwards - up to 10 minutes
Cat. H - born from 2005 to 2010 - up to 15 minutes
Cat. I - no age limit - up to 20 minutes

Singers section
Each participant will have to sing two opera arias from 1700 onwards. 

Cat. L - no age limit

Musical high schools section
(Reserved for soloists and groups up to a maximum of eight elements).

Cat. M - Soloists - First two years - up to 7 minutes
Cat. N - Soloists - Second Two-Year Course - up to 8 minutes
Cat. O - Soloists - Fifth year - up to 10 minutes
Cat. P - Ensemble Music Groups (any formation) - up to 10 minutes

Middle schools section
(Reserved for soloists and ensembles up to a maximum of five elements)

Cat. Q - Soloists - up to 7 minutes
Cat. R - Ensemble Music Groups (any formation) - up to 8 minutes

PRIZES

 - Competitors with the highest score or who will score at least 98/100 points will be awarded a  1st  prize absolute winner diploma and a cup.
 
  - Competitors who will score at least 95/100 points will be awarded a 1st  prize diploma and a cup.
 
  - Competitors who will score at least 90/100 points will be awarded a 2nd  prize diploma and a medal.
 
 - Competitors who will score at least 85/100 points will be awarded a 3rd prize diploma and a medal.
 
 - All other competitors will be awarded a participation diploma.
 
 - The jury can assign High Distincions to musicians who possess outstanding talent.
 
 - The jury can decide to award concerts offered by  private and public institutions or associations to particulary talented musicians (only a reimbursement of costs incurred will be provided).
 
 - Teachers of awarded competitors will receive a certificate, if requested. 
 
 - The teacher with the highest number of awarded students will receive a diploma.

- A certificate will be issued to all teachers of prize-winning applicants on request.

- The teacher with the highest number of awarded students will receive a diploma.

- The teacher with the highest number of students will receive a diploma.

- The school with the highest number of students who have applied for the competition will receive a diploma.

- Absolute winners of each category who will score at least 98/100 will be invited to perform at the Winners' Concert wich will take place on 9 February at the Competition venue at a time to be scheduled.
